Who am I?

A question I often ask myself these days, together with where am I, and what was I looking for! You’ve guessed. Not in the first flush of youth but I like to think I still have a youthful outlook on life. I’ve always enjoyed photography but am much happier behind the camera than in front of it. 

I bought my first DSLR in 1998 after undertaking an incredible safari and realising the limitations of my ‘point and shoot’  I now use a Nikon full Frame Mirrorless camera.

Life interfered and I stopped taking photos for quite a few years but am now totally obsessed and making up for lost time. I don't limit myself to one particular genre of photography (well not yet anyway)  preferring to say that I’m an observational photographer constantly on the look-out for an interesting image.
